A COMPOUNDLOTID is the internal database identifier for a given lot (batch) for a given sample. Every sample (Compound, Substance, siRNA) is assigned a lotID before it is plated into a stock plate. A given sample might have more than one lotID in the database based on whether it came from different vendors or from different lots.
