The threshold biological activity is a sample that is considered a ‘Hit’ in a primary screen. By default, when primary screen data is imported RxPlora considers sets as an activity threshold of 3 standard deviations above the negative controls on its plate. That means if a sample measures more than 3 SD by controls, it is a ‘Hit’. This setting can be overwritten by an administrator, who can choose to have a different threshold setting for an assay (e.g > 70% inhibition).
