An access group determines whether a project is an ‘Open’ or ‘Restricted’ type. Open projects permits sharing and viewing compounds from other open project, but cannot share or view their compounds with other restricted projects. A restricted access group project on the other hand can only view compounds from their own project and cannot share or view compounds from any other restricted or open project.
